A little bit about me...

If you asked my friends to describe me, they'd probably say I'm a "say it as it is" kind of person -- honest, genuine, and straight-talking. But they'd also tell you I have a big heart and a mountain of understanding. I'm someone who truly listens, who feels deeply, and who instinctively knows how to support others through life's most emotional moments.
Outside of work, I love life's simple pleasures -- exploring new places, indulging in delightfully bad TV, and following football (from the stands rather than the pitch, though I can be very vocal on match days!) I'm based in Buckingham, where I live with my husband. I have two grown-up children, and family life is very important to me.
My journey to Celebrancy
Being a celebrant is more than a career for me -- it's a calling. It's about honouring lives, creating meaningful moments, and helping people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent over 18 years working in the charity sector, supporting people through some of the most important and challenging times in their lives. Prior to that, I worked as an HR Manager, always with a focus on people and their stories. Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural continuation of my path -- allowing me to keep doing what I love most: supporting people with compassion, empathy, and care.
Trained by the Academy of Modern Celebrants, I combine professionalism, warmth, and creativity to craft ceremonies that feel both meaningful and authentic.
For me, there's nothing more important than making sure loved ones are remembered in a way that feels right and true to them. Being a celebrant means I can be there for families during some of life's most emotional moments, helping to create ceremonies filled with warmth, dignity, and togetherness. It's a role I feel honoured to fulfil.
